Synthetic Red Iron Oxide

Synthetic red iron oxide are the most common oxide color and have highest amount of iron. Commercially available red oxides are very fine dry powder made by grinding ore materials or heat processing ferrous/ferric Sulphate or Ferric Hydroxide.

Synthetic Red Oxides are high quality inorganic color pigments with high purity, excellent color stability, light fastness, weather stability and chemical resistance.

Carbon Black

Carbon black (subtypes are acetylene black, channel black, furnace black, lamp black and thermal black) is a material produced by the incomplete combustion of heavy petroleum products such as FCC tar, coal tar, ethylene cracking tar, or vegetable matter.

Compared with other colorants, carbon black has a high coloring power. Therefore. it is used as ink for printing newspapers, as ink-jet toner, and other such uses. It is also suitable as a pigment for heat-moulded plastics, car fenders, coating for electric wires and other products.

Carbon black is essentially used in manufacturing tires, plastics, mechanical rubber goods, printing inks, and toners. It can absorb UV light and converts it into heat, hence, finds its major application in also used in insulating wires and cables.

Carbon black is also used in many moulded and extruded industrial rubber products, such as belts, hoses, gaskets, diaphragms, vibration isolation devices, bushings, air springs, chassis bumpers, and multiple types of pads, boots, wiper blades, fascia, conveyor wheels, and grommets. The grades which goes into rubber industries are N550, N330, N220, N660, N772

We can supply carbon black various grades applicable to Rubber, Plastic, Ink manufacturing industries.

Pigments

A pigment is a colored material that is completely or nearly insoluble in water.

Pigments are substances which impart colour and opacity & are insoluble in the particular application medium. They are extremely finely ground substances which, due to their chemical and physical nature, absorb or scatter light in a certain way and are thus able to give substances to which they are mixed, coloured appearances. Pigments is usually dispersed in the vehicle (medium).

Their variety of colors (red, yellow, black, brown) and excellent performance/cost ratio make them fit into lots of different applications such as Paints, Building materials, Plastic, Rubber goods, Paper, Inks etc.

Titanium Dioxide

Titanium dioxide occurs in nature as the minerals rutile and anatase. Rutile is the next most abundant and contains around 98% titanium dioxide in the ore.

The most important application areas are paints and varnishes as well as paper and plastics, which account for about 80% of the world’s titanium dioxide consumption. Other pigment applications such as printing inks, fibers, rubber, cosmetic products, and food account for another 8%. The rest is used in other applications, for instance the production of technical pure titanium, glass and glass ceramics, electrical ceramics, metal patinas, catalysts, electric conductors, and chemical intermediates

Titanium dioxide Tio2 has two forms: rutile and anatase. Rutile is deep red while anatase is yellow to blue. Rutile has a high absorbance property than anatase. Rutile and anatase are both used in the white pigmentation of paints, paper, and ceramics.
